Here’s a refreshing late summer treat. It’s a great appetizer or can even accompany a fish or chicken dish. The jalapeño adds a little bite, but isn’t necessary.

Mango Avocado Salsa

  • 2 mangos
  • 1 jalapeño pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, minced
  • 1/4 red onion
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 tomato

Dice the mangos, avocado, tomato, jalapeño pepper red onion in a small bowl. Add the cilantro and the lime juice.

Serve with tortilla chips.
