What languages are worth learning

There is no universal answer to this question and there cannot be. Before you decide on an additional language, you need to realize for yourself:

  • What profession do I want to master?
  • Where do I want to work, live (in what country, company)?
  • Where would I like to travel?
  • What languages do I like in terms of sound and pronunciation?

It is believed that English, German, French, and Italian are the easiest languages to learn. But many people are afraid to start learning Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. Oriental languages are difficult for several reasons. They differ phonetically, morphologically, and syntactically.

Chinese is worth mentioning separately. It has about 60 thousand characters, all of which seem similar to each other. In addition, the language is a tone language: different pitches change the meaning of what is said. To understand Chinese, you have to learn to think like a Chinese. However, sociologists believe that in 10-15 years, Chinese will be the most popular language in the world of international and business communication.

Specialists who speak rare languages are in demand. For example, Finnish and Swedish will help you master professions related to the languages of the North Germanic group. This is relevant for those who want to find a job in a company that does business with these countries.

Spanish

It is one of the working languages of the United Nations. In America, Spanish is the second most popular language – it is spoken by migrants from Mexico and Latin America. Spanish is one of the easiest languages in the world, it is pleasant to the ear. The IT sector is currently developing rapidly in Spain, so Spanish will definitely help a programmer who wants to build a successful career.

Japanese
